AAC for Individuals with Cerebral Palsy | AAC Modeling

Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) is a tool for individuals with cerebral palsy, enabling them to communicate and participate in society. The Cerebral Palsy Foundation has provided funding for research on AAC. With the help of AAC devices and strategies, individuals with cerebral palsy can express their thoughts, needs, and desires, and interact with others in a meaningful way. The Food and Drug Administration has approved several AAC devices for use in the United States.
